We are a mechanical/plumbing company looking for a full-time stockroom/inventory Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory control and flow of parts and material.
- Receiving parts and materials into the stockroom.
- Procure parts as needed for a job or for replenishment of the stockroom.
- Assist in dispensing parts to our field personnel.
- The stockroom Supervisor will perform routine cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- The stockroom supervisor will maintain our in-house inventory by adding and subtracting parts materials into our inventory control system.
- Perform various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Must perform routine tasks on a computer
Must be knowledgeable of gas and oil burner parts & components
Must be knowledgeable of pipe and fitting (Steel & Copper)
Must know basic electrical work
Knowledge of a computerized inventory control system is a plus
Be able to lift 50 pounds
Good attention to detail
Plumbing and heating knowledge is a plus.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Fork-lift experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
