Pool attendant wanted for private local condominium complex

East Gate Condominium is hiring one part-time pool attendants for the season. Must be honest, responsible and dependable and who have the qualifications and are able to do the responsibilities listed below.

This is a seasonal, temporary position that will monitor all activities in the pool area so that all residents have a clean, safe and enjoyable visit at the pool. We are looking for employees who strive for excellence in the performance of their jobs, treat all individuals with dignity and respect, Enforce the rules with grace but a firm manner and to be able to go above and beyond what is expected of them.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must be available from 11:00am-8:00pm, Monday- Friday, 10 am- 8 pm Weekends, exact schedules will be determined.
• Must be able to work June 19 –Sept 4, this would include ALL holidays and weekends, no exceptions. If you can't work holidays, weekends, or until Sept 4th, please do not apply.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all building residents, co-workers and board members
• Ability to keep interactions with others short to avoid distraction from primary responsibilities.
• Ability to sit outdoors for 6-8 hours per day
• Able to communicate & enforce rules in a positive way with residents and if necessary refer them to designated Board members for resolution.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities include but limited to additional responsibilities

• Ensure all pool users sign in and provide proper pool pass or pay proper fee
• Enforce all Pool COVID safety rules and regulations of East Gate Association
• Ability to clean pool tiles, remove floating leaves and vacuum pool as needed
• Lift and set out chairs and loungers and open umbrellas daily
• Maintain neat and clean restrooms, pool area and water at all times
• Check water level to ensure proper operation of skimmers and pool filter
• Preform chemical testing of water and record results
• Water all plants and flowers daily
• Empty garbage and bring to dumpster
• Lock up chairs and gate at closing time
• Ability to stay focused on your area of surveillance at all times.
• Reports to designated Board members or Property management

EDUCATION: High School Diploma.

EXPERIENCE: helpful but not necessary

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.69 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
