Des Moines Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Band Director (Stipend) at East High School.
Job Summary:
Assist head band director in conducting and administering performances and rehearsals outside the school day.
Successful candidates for this position will possess:
1. Bachelor of Music Educationdegree (for assigned stipend) or experience in music performance (for ratio stipend).
2. Competency working in a culturally diverse environment or the willingness to acquire theseskills.

Stipend amounts are based on a percentage of the base salary negotiated by DMEA. Stipends are subject to be prorated if the full season is not worked.
