Responsibilities
- Produces fixed cost proposal design, development and implementation for various systems including Electrical systems structured cabling, security, wireless, VOIP, public address and CATV with a national focus.
- Coordinates and manages all aspects of a project including material ordering and delivery; workforce planning; budgeting; customer satisfaction; etc.
- Interfaces with customers, architects, contractors, engineering, etc. on any contractual issues, financial matters, costs, scheduling, and technical issues that may arise.
- Manage and report the current status of fixed bid project schedules, scopes, and budget/cost in an accurate and timely manner.
- Conduct site surveys, quality checks and job audits.
- Provides documentation, reports and information to the appropriate management team members and customer as requested.
- Consistently monitors job reports to ensure margins meet or exceed estimates.
- Ensures the quality of workmanship is to company and customer standards.
- Exhibits the ability to work independently.
- Initiates and monitors installation standards, providing on the job training and direction to staff.
- Enforces company safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Attend and participate in project meetings.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in related field required or 3 years of experience in a similar management position
- Extensive relevant technical experience to include fundamental understanding of voice and data networking, structured cabling, fiber optics, routing and switching.
- Familiarity with business concepts related to the use of information technologies and networking in all aspects of business and organizational operations for the achievement of business/operating objectives
- Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion
- Organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Current industry-related licenses and certifications preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
