**Job Summary:**

Easter Seals is seeking a dedicated and passionate Skills Instructor to join our team. As a Skills Instructor, you will play a vital role in providing educational and instructional support to individuals with disabilities and special needs. You will contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities.

- Provide individualized instruction and support to help students achieve their learning goals.

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes active participation and collaboration.

- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

- Collaborate with colleagues, therapists, and caregivers to support the holistic development of each student.

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.

- Stay current on best practices in special education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.

**Skills:**

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (University degree preferred).

- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

- Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
