What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at EasterSeals NH?
Easterseals residential facilities provide 24-hour support to youth ages 5-21. Our clinical support is designed to meet the need of our youth with neurological and or psychiatric disabilities and intellectual and behavioral challenges. Children and their families are supported through programs designed to meet their specific needs.
This position is responsible for cooking and meal preparation in a facility that provides Residential and Educational programs to a youth population.
Qualifications:
1 year of experience as a cook at a camp, school, residential program or other food service establishment .
Serve safe certification is preferred but not required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities include:
Preparing, cooking or serving dinner for clients and staff according to the menu plan and schedule
Providing good customer service to our clientele and staff
Cleaning of the kitchen after preparation and serving while maintaining high standard of cleanliness. Following proper food safety guidelines and standard SOP’s. (standard operating procedures)
Maintaining proper storage and rotation of stock. Labeling and dating of food
Other duties as needed
Compensation: $19.00-$21.50 per hour, based upon qualifications, certifications and education
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00AM-7:00PM with rotating weekend coverage
