Responsibilities
The primary job responsibilities include:
Verify labeling, sampling and handling of addback material- Field verify product labeling, complete packaging quality check sheets
- Ensure cGMP requirements are met for packaging areas
- Print check sheets and labels for products to be packaged
- Enter SAP transactions for material transfers
- Identify issues and write work notifications on packaging equipment
- Help coordinate offline packaging efforts
- Mentor new bulk loaders
The Packaging Coordinator is expected to exemplify the following behaviors:
Contribute to improving safety culture in packaging areas- Acknowledge and report all job hazards that can impact work execution
- Be an engaged champion of packaging needs
- Learn packaging constraints and communicate this information to others
- Work with PMD area maintenance coordinators to repair and maintain packaging equipment
- Build relationships and partner with Brock Packaging teams to improve safety and address packaging issues
- Be an approachable mentor/resource for bulk loaders and encourage adherence to procedures and reporting of all safety issues.
- With transfer operator, serve as communications hub between PMD, PSD, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Brock.
Qualifications
Completion of Packaging Coordinator Training Program within one year of assignment (Structured Training Program guidelines)- Capable of providing clear and concise verbal and written communications
- Possess and practice good organizational skills
- Possess good team skills
- Have, or possess the ability to learn, a general knowledge of the polymers division, safety and regulatory requirements for the division, basic computer skills, and become knowledgeable of a variety of software packages including corporate systems, i.e., Microsoft Office products, Intranet, SAP, etc.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality

- Reading for Information / Workplace Documents – 6
- Locating Information / Graphic Literacy - 5
