Job Description

Candidatewill work closely with Functional and technical developer teams toimplement Workday Financials Account Payables and Banking &Settlements modules.

Experience in Account Payables and Banking& Settlements is a MUSThave.

Localcandidates are strongly preferred; however SAO will consider out ofstate candidates. Local candidates will be required to attendperiodic onsite meetings.

A hybrid work schedule will be determinedshortly after the start date.

Thecandidate will leverage relevant knowledge of Workday Financialsreporting and budgeting processes as well as related accountingconsiderations including 1099 processing the qualified candidatewill provide high quality support and leadership for the optimaldesign and configuration of the system to assure maximum benefit toour customers.

This candidate will also be required to work inpartnership and independently with the relevant Business

Owner organizations and other functionalSMEs (as required) to identify and refine business requirements andcreate the functional design and architecture necessary to supportthe requirements.

It is also expected that this candidate will befamiliar with full lifecycle implementation processes and performall expected functional procedures as required.

Finally personalcommitment to serve the customer with excellence competenceproficiency and courtesy will beessential.

Responsibilities

Implements Account Payables and Banking & Settlementsmodules.

Analyzes information to determine nature and extent of customerrequirements andconcerns.

Develops and / or executes change management plans for transition tonewsystems.

Consults with implementation partner and technical staff to ensurethat functionality of automated system is consistent with adherenceto laws regulations and best practice standards byusers.

Tests or coordinates testing of new installations orupgrades.

Participates in evaluation of new technologies enhancements orsolutions to improve service and efficiency ofsystems.

Researches and analyzes system / user problems by applying a varietyof analytical and researchtechniques.

Participates in the establishment of standards and procedures to beused in the development ofsystems.

PreferredQualifications :

4 years of handson experience with Workday Account Payables andBanking & Settlementsmodules

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Information Systems orequivalent

4 years of experience in PublicSector

Prior experience working with the State of GA Financialssystem

Translates business needs into business and functionalrequirements

Conducts application design and architecture componentconfiguration for related modules / businessprocesses

Writes and interprets functional and business requirements as aninput to applicationdesign

Develops and tests detailed functional designs for businesssolution components andprototypes

Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner and reportingprogress at least weekly to the implementation Project ManagerProject Sponsor or designatedemployee

Seeks innovative approaches to improve the process of deliveringWorkday financial accounting and reporting solutions tocustomers

Willingness to share suggestions and knowledge capital to helpoptimize the Financial Systems Divisions implementation and projectmethodology

Ability to develop WDreports

Demonstrated proficiency in relevant analyticalabilities

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in bothoral and writtenformats

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with functional andtechnicalteams
