About the role:


EasyPost is looking for a highly motivated UX lead that can help develop and shape the culture of the design organization.  You will own the full user experience not just for the UI but also for the API. If you are interested in owning the strategic direction and vision of the EasyPost user experience and work tactically to deliver that vision, this is the right role for you. 


What You'll Do:


o Develop a design process that will help provide EasyPost customers with an easy to use and gratifying user experience

o Support and demonstrate a growing design culture at EasyPost. Focusing on fostering collaboration, creative thinking, and excellence

o Own the UX design system and design concepts for EasyPost

o Be the advocate for UX best practices and modern design principles

o Translate user needs to best in class user experiences to elevate the EasyPost platform

o Continue to evolve the existing design concepts to meet modern design standards and principles

o Work closely with cross functional teams such as Product Management, Marketing and Engineering to guide complex projects through all stages of UX design and execution

o Advocate for best in class design while understanding and balancing the business needs and time constraints

o Deliver consistent look and feel and interaction patterns across the overall product portfolio

o Manage a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders within and beyond the organization


About You:


o 7 years of working experience as a user experience designer in agile development environments

o 5 years of creating and defining visual design styles for user interfaces and design systems 

o Expert in standard UX software and tooling namely Figma, Adobe CC specifically, Illustrator and Photoshop

o Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast paced, results driven environment from conception through delivery to market.

o Experience working with stakeholders all the way from high-level strategic planning all the way down to managing tactical daily execution

o Strong problem solving skills and is a creative thinker

o Strong collaboration and communication skills, open to feedback from Product o Management and Engineering on the vision of the user experience

o A strong portfolio of samples demonstrating modern UX design skills, and an excellent understanding of Design systems is require
