Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Since 1949, Eat'n Park Restaurants has been a family-owned restaurant chain committed to creating smiles. As a Restaurant Manager, you will work to ensure that we are creating smiles for all our guests and team members every day. As a part of the management team, you will grow sales, uphold our safety & quality standards and build team member engagement. You are vital to our success!
Typical work activities for our Restaurant Managers include:
- Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
- Greeting customers and doing table visits to ensure customer satisfaction
- Understanding and practicing all safety procedures at the restaurant
- Hiring, training, retaining, and developing team members
- Role model and hold team members accountable to operational and quality standards
- Implementing internal sales building initiatives under the direction of the General Manager
- Assist the General Manager with completing the weekly team member schedule
- Work with the General Manager to develop sales projection, analyze and adjust financials as necessary and prepare the annual financial plan and restaurant goals
- Creating smiles!
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or the equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of restaurant or hospitality experience; restaurant management experience preferred.
- Ability to performing all essential job duties within the restaurant including but not limited to: stand/walk for periods of eight to ten hours and lift/move up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Effectively manage team members and resolve conflict.
- Must have proficient computer skills (MS Office, point of sale systems, inventory management systems, etc.).
