Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure Soluations (GEIS) division is currently seeking a dynamic, driven EHS Manager to join our team. The position is based at our Amarillo, TX facility and offers relocation assistance. Built in 1981, we are a thriving iron foundry that serves our customers with a variety of parts, including conduits, covers and fittings. The expected annual salary range for this role is $101250.0 - $148500.0 a year.

The EHS Manager will provide environmental, health, safety, and security leadership for the Amarillo, TX facility to drive compliance and functional excellence throughout the plant.
In this function you will:
- Manage and direct site in achieving EHS and site Security targets & objectives
- Assign and support MESH (Management of Environment Safety & Health) element champions and facilitate their engagement in ownership of the MESH elements
- Create and maintain training matrices to ensure all training is defined and tracked to completion
- Work with site leadership team to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis
- Work with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS Federal, State, and local regulations
- Direct development, facilities, and achievement of goals in support of corporate, regional and business group EHS strategic initiatives.
- Lead and/or participate in the investigation of employee concerns, EHS Incidents, and Employee Observations/Near Misses, along with corrective action development, implementation, and follow-up
- Maintain and communicate EHS metrics as required, to facility, division and/or corporate EHS management, and maintain and post site EHS roadmap including action plans and key initiatives
- Other various duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an EHS role
- Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in EHS or related field from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years' experience in an EHS role
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience with lean tools
- Project Management Experience

Position Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and advise all employees of the operation to implement EH&S requirements in a collaborative manner to achieve and sustain EH&S goals and objectives year over year.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and successfully lead and implement change activities
- Understanding of all components of a Corporate EHS Program
- Ability to execute on regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with all levels of employees
- Evaluate EHS programs, and then develop and implement corrective actions.
- Significant experience with day-to-day application of Federal and state laws, OSHA, and EPA regulations as well as MESH and FM requirements
- Ability to motivate other employees to assume responsibility for MESH related programs and provide guidance to the requirements
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy and procedure
- Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas)
- Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity
- Indoor and outdoor exposure to weather
- Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents
