Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Partner Development Manager - Power (VAR). This is a home-based position and candidates must reside within 50 miles of the following locations to be considered for this role: City of Industry, CA; San Diego, CA; Pleasanton, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Wilsonville, OR; Tukwila, WA or Chandler, AZ.

Position Overview:
This position will be responsible for achieving sales quota or market development quota consistent with the expectations of a seasoned sales professional. The primary focus will be selling and supporting key Power Value Added Resellers (Power-VARs) in the region.

- Develop existing and new partners/ Power Value Added Resellers (VARs) in the assigned territory with growth expectations
- Execute sales plans to meet performance expectation and requirements
- Provide price guidance based on customer needs and expectations
- Partner with channel marketing on programs and promotions, including budget oversight
- Provide or coordinate technical and solution-based training leveraging appropriate Eaton resources and conduct quarterly business reviews with assigned power resellers
- Work collaboratively with the data center sales leadership team and other internal stakeholders, to ensure alignment and consistent approach
- Collaborative engagement with Eaton business units and master distributors to support the Power VARS’ power quality product and service opportunities
- Be responsible for collaboration and strategy within the region (lead monthly pipeline calls, report on partner performance, business plan development for top partners/underperforming partners/partner recruitment, etc.)
- Monitor key market trends, competitor initiatives etc. that could impact sales and Eaton positioning in the marketplace
- Leverage digital tools (CRM) to capture relevant commercial information and make informed business decisions
- Develop and manage a go-to-market strategy that maximizes Eaton’s window to market through various channels
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in channel sales and/or technology sales
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the following locations will be considered: City of Industry, CA; San Diego, CA; Pleasanton, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Salt Lake City, UT or Bellevue, WA. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

- Experience within the data center market
- Experience with power quality solutions
- Experience with infrastructure
- Experience with power distribution
- Experience with technology solutions providers and/or Value Added Resellers (VAR’s)

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and sales incentive. This position has a total compensation range of $116,250 - $170,500.
