We are looking for a strong 401(k) Specialist to join our amazing team. This person will work closely with the 401(k) team to provide comprehensive retirement plan administration and record keeping services to our clients. They will provide analytical and technical support, as well as deliver excellent customer service to our clients and their employees.
Essential Functions
Work with Clients on setting up plans and providing life of service support including but not limited to Plan Education/ Enrollment meetings, participant requests and questions, and aiding client admins with using our in-house developed tools.
Run test and audits for both required compliance and best practices including year-end 5500 forms.
Prepare internal and external reporting based on compliance needs or on an ad-hoc basis for internal and external stakeholders
Work with our internal Development and IT Resources on further development of our 401K platform.
Competencies
Strong communication and client relation management skills
Experience working with retirement plans, 401(k), PS, DB, preferably with a TPA or open architecture record keeper or relevant and comparable experience a plus
Independent Self-Starter with a proactive mindset towards compliance and customer experience
Required Experience
1 to 3 years of experience administering retirement plans in a TPA plan provider environment
Experience working with retirement plans, 401(k), Profit Sharing preferably with a TPA or open architecture record keeper or relevant and comparable experience a plus
Intimate knowledge of laws and regulations related to qualified and nonqualified plans and types of plan designs (IRS, DOL, ERISA, EGTRRA, PPA etc.)
Knowledge and understanding of daily recordkeeping is desired.
Working knowledge of the following are pluses but not required: SQL programming language, Matrix|Broadridge as a provider, Davis Bacon.

Salary: 60-75k Depending on Experience
