Role Overview:
The eBay North America Deals team is looking for a Seller Communications Manager responsible for owning seller submissions, communication process and managing submissions on eBay.com/deals. This individual will also project manage current and new automation/process improvements as we build and implement the roadmap for our CRM (HIVE) tool. The Operations team is responsible for facilitating Deals and Seller-Funded coupon operations while ensuring we are executing our strategy and delivering on our annual goals (including Holiday).
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the deals site merchandiser to align on the merchandising calendar for our Deals page(ebay.com/deals) and create seller submission criteria based off weekly themes
- Manage the deals inventory on the Deals page, sourced through various automated processes
- Own the seller submission process end-to-end – incorporating weekly themes, sourcing and launching relevant inventory, monitoring seller performance & standards
- Partner and work closely with the HIVE (CRM) team to ensure new functionalities/enhancements are being worked on and delivered on time
- Collaborate with seller communication team to develop a communication strategy with sellers for key shopping moments/retail moments
- Responsible for regularly gathering feedback from the sellers through seller surveys, seller 1:1 etc.
Qualifications:
- You are self-motivated, efficient, independent and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about understanding customer needs and improving the current experience
- Strong time management skills, including the discipline to get things done in ambiguous situations and the ability to work on multiple projects and navigate multiple partner engagements (both internal and external) simultaneously
- Lead project management activities end-to-end in close collaboration with business, product and tech leads
- Strong communication skills, including experience synthesizing complex scenarios and communicating data & insights to a sophisticated audience
- Strong attention to detail with the sense of responsibility for the flawless execution of assigned tasks
- Experience with CRM tools (such as Salesforce, Hive, and Smartsheets) preferred
- BA/BS degree, with 4 years of relevant ecommerce/marketplace experience
