The EBCDC is a non profit organization established in 1970. Are current management staff has a long tenure at the company. Our newest manager has been with the company for over 5 years. That includes the Regional Property Manager (25years).

Job description We are looking for an Assistant Community Manager for a 208 PBV units at Orient Heights in East Boston. The property is currently under construction on the final Phase which will be completed in 2023 and adding another 135 units. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated talented assistant community manager to work directly with the Property Manager. This position will have room for growth within the company. Essential Functions

Assist the Community Manager in overseeing the overall financial and operational performance of the property (listed below)

  • Responsible for the marketing activities of the property to ensure budgeted occupancy goals.
  • Ensures compliance with all tax credit requirements and regulations including assisting in the compliance audits as required.
  • Identify and coordinate the maintenance activities and priorities within budgetary limits of the property. Works with the maintenance team to implement maintenance programs and controls.
  • Ensures both interiors and exteriors of property are properly maintained.
  • Ensures the property’s move in, move out, and recertification process are timely and accurate.
  • Responsible for compliance with Affirmative Fair Housing regulations and Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action policies, including federal, state, and local governing agency requirements.
  • Assess property security requirements and recommend changes as necessary.
  • Manage, and develop staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all constituents; owners, residents, vendors, etc.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Affordable/PBV housing experience
  • Ability to develop and manage teams, including office and maintenance staff
  • Microsoft Office Suite; Yardi experience a plus.
  • Certifications/Licensure – CAM/CPM a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

License/Certification:
