We are looking for a Chaplain who would be responsible for assessing spiritual health needs and providing direct spiritual care and consultation to residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities/Job Description
Work responsibilities include
- providing worship services, bible studies or spirituality groups
- facilitating support groups, identifying and responding to spiritual and emotional needs of residents and staff.
- Connects to spiritual/religious community organizations to address specific spiritual and religious needs of residents.
Other responsibilities include
- functioning as member of the interdisciplinary team; serving as a theological, ethical and education resource and maintains role as "clergy in good standing" with religious adjudicating body and APC/NACC communities.
- The Chaplain reports to the Executive Director at the site and works in conjunction with the Corporate Director for Spiritual Health Services of Ebenezer.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Advanced degree
- Post baccalaureate degree or post baccalaureate degree in process in theology or religious studies training as required by the chaplain's faith group
- Graduate degree in theology from a CHEA accredited theological seminary or religious studies program
- License/Certification/Registration
- One or more units of ACPE accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
- Endorsement by faith group
- Experience
- 1-3 years
- Additional requirement
- Experience with documentation of spiritual assessment and outcomes, including facility with electronic charting and other computer based applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
