Field Technician

(W2VHE) Level 2 Computer Field Techs – 2 years of business professional working experience in the computer installation field. In addition to experience, Comptia A certification and/or associate's degree in computer field is preferred.

Job Details:

• Location: Travel across the Michigan university Campus.
• Work days: Monday through Friday.
• Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Duration: Project under review. Possibly up to a year.

Job Description:

• Main campus site for device install, de-install, and general setup.
• Imaging SCCM in Customer staging area.
• Installation and De-installation of PC Computers.
• Data Migration via USMT (as needed).
• Updating Customer ticketing system.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Repetitive motion capability, good eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity sufficient to assemble units or small parts of equipment, detailed oriented, and ability to work alone.

REQUIRED:

• Level 2: Associate's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Services, or related field, or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Background check/drug screening required.

**Additional Screenings required**

Must demonstrate proof of Covid vaccination and up-to-date immunity measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, pertussis, tetanus and diphtheria (Tdap vaccination is required), influenza (current season), and a proof of a negative TB skin or blood test within the past year, as applicable, on file in the vendor management system. The process may take up to 2 weeks. (Reimbursement on first paycheck)

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• Weekends only
