ECC is seeking candidates for a Submittal Coordinator I position. This position is responsible for providing support and coordination of project submittals, associated administrative duties, and special assignments. This position will:

- Under direct supervision, produce project reports, plans, and other submittals for internal review and client submission, following established procedures
- Perform technical editing, formatting, production, creating CDs, and uploading of documents to websites, following client templates and procedures
- Perform review of numerous project documents including checking formatting, grammar, acronyms/abbreviations, references, as well as making sure figure/table/appendices are referenced correctly
- Catalogue submittals and maintain document library
- Arrange and participate in project meetings, and take meeting notes, as required
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Maintain budget and schedule for assigned tasks
- Utilize Microsoft Project to prepare and update schedules
- Preparation and/or update of data tables and trend graphs in Microsoft Excel
- Meeting support for client and/or public meetings - including preparation of newspaper advertisements/mailings; meeting facilitator; preparation of meeting minutes, and tracking of action items
- In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
- Adept at responding to critical requests, limited turnaround times, and demanding deadlines
- Ability to follow through on competing priorities and tasks
- Intermediate knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Competent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, and internet
- One year of experience preparing, writing, and editing technical documents
- Education: This position requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
- Certificate in Technical Writing or a related credential
- Bachelor’s degree
