8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday $60,000-$90,000

We are looking for an Aftermarket Sales Representative to join our client's manufacturing company in Selling automotive electronics/auto parts.

Year-End bonus 5%-10% depending on profitability and individual performance.

Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products or services
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Demonstrate product knowledge and explain features and benefits to customers
- Process sales transactions, including cash handling and order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and goals
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of products

Generate sales and income for the company while maintaining existing customers and creating new accounts.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude who is organized, energetic, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Aftermarket including co-manufacturers, warehouse distributors and buying groups.

- Previous experience in a sales role is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual abilities, especially bilingual, is a plus
- Generate new accounts

  • Maintain existing accounts
  • Prepare bids and quotes
  • Answer customer inquiries
  • Negotiate pricing and availability
  • Prepare reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis
  • Research new product requests
  • Prospecting and contacting potential customers
  • Maintaining active business relationships by responding to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activity, cost of sales, profit, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized and safe working environment.
  • Communicating with customers by phone or email.

Required Skills:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel within Montgomery, AL (yes or no)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-5 years relatable sales experience
  • Team Player
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in social media networking
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills
  • Customer service skills

This is a full time exempt status position.

The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel.
