Required Skills:
- Need to be very detail oriented and have a strong desire to learn about handling new hardware procurement processes.
Qualfiications:
- 4 years' experience in Information Systems.
- 3 years' experience in a hardware asset management focused role required (below bullets encompass hardware asset management in more detail):
- Experience with processing purchase requisitions/POs for hardware using an ERP system.
- Experience with contacting vendors and hardware vendors for model and configuration specs.
- Experience with working with IS teams on promoting the validation and approval of new hardware standards.
- Experience with contacting vendors on status of open orders.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong ability to effectively and concisely communicate (oral and written) with multiple levels of the organization (internally and externally).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks with little supervision.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with good interpersonal skills.
- Shows ability to follow up with multiple vendors on multiple orders at the same time.
Preferred Experience:
- ServiceNow ticket management experience.
