Crew Leader Qualifications:
- 3 years of hands-on landscape experience.
- 1 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Experience with construction hand tools, equipment, and materials.
- Holds a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate company vehicles, trucks, and trailers.
- The ability to walk, kneel, bend, and lift at least 50 pounds.
- The ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Preferred Crew Leader Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science in Landscape Contracting, Construction, Horticulture or a related field
How our Crew Leaders at spend their days:
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of a 1–3-person crew
- Overseeing the performance and delivery of high-quality landscape services.
- Ensuring compliance with contract agreements and budget parameters.
- Providing insight and solutions to challenges and opportunities as they arise on the accounts.
- Performing various duties as assigned per account type, including but not limited to:
- Planting, transplanting, pruning, weeding, pest monitoring, fertilization, watering, site clean-up, and all other plant health care and maintenance function assigned.
- Installation of hardscape projects like patios, walkways, retaining walls, seat walls, etc. using a wide range of materials.
- Installation of plant materials.
- Transporting personnel and materials.
- Ensuring job site and crew safety.
- Maintaining job site and company facilities in a neat and orderly manner.
