What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Manager- Regulated Products position at ECOLAB?
Purolite, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a Product Manager to build and maintain Purolite's strategic plan for production and capacities across global facilities. This role provides vision to the global Purolite Food & Beverage and Potable Water business segments and is critical to sustain existing business and promote continued growth. The successful candidate will be an established, proactive, dynamic product manager and technical marketer experienced in product marketing. This individual will be a close partner for Purolite's Sales organization, Supply Chain, Regulatory/Compliance, RDE, and the entire Business team.
What You Will Do
- Analyze customer needs through research and market data; assess competition by comparing products.
- Establish and maintain a strategic plan for demand and capacity globally
- Develop product lines and appraise new ideas for market viability
- Create product marketing communications objectives and launch packages and work with marketing to realize.
- Work with the sales leaders to create product sales strategies
- Create long- and short-term product sales forecasts and analysis for leadership
- Conduct return on investment analysis for product offerings
- Market new products with sales, advertising, and production teams
- Rationalize and prioritize product lines based on market research and capacity constraints
- Manage and optimize products within applications
- Recommend product pricing based on market research, production costs and anticipated demand.
- Communicate product information globally.
- Train sales staff on new products, ROI and product fit
- 25% domestic and occasional international travel.
- Work in our King of Prussia office on a hybrid schedule
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in technical field, such as engineering, biology, microbiology, or chemistry
- Minimum five years of experience in the chemical industry
- Excellent analytical and forecasting skills with ability to communicate concepts across all levels of organization.
- Strategic mindset, customer focused with ability to exercise sound judgement.
- Effective relationship management, ability to network, support and influence across the entire organization.
- A history of driving continuous improvement and investment in high growth businesses.
- Excellent communication skills: you will act as a translator to numerous non-technical operators.
- Experience in data analysis or finance or business strategy is ideal.
