What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager II position at ECOLAB?
Main Responsibilities
- Manage all facility goals, including leading and teaching TPM improvements, Safety / TRIR, maintaining a 96% DIFOT service level, QA testing, productivity, inventory management maintaining at or below the Days on Hand (DOH) goals and production throughput
- Work closely with Supply Chain Safety, and become the safety Champion for Clearing, including leading Safety meetings, facilitating weekly steering discussions and conducting monthly reviews
- Act as Personnel Manager, handling daily employee related items, driving cultural changes and resolving conflict as needed
- Lead QA group by assisting and coaching staff on troubleshooting processes, connecting with R&D and working closely with Corporate Quality. Act as NGES Clearing CRM Case Manager supporting all quality complaints
- Lead Production by supporting and coaching staff, making sure they handle mechanical repairs, ordering new parts, submitting Work Orders into Clearing Maintenance department.
- Lead your Logistics staff ensuring they have proper planning of the daily schedule, weekly bulk productions to meet orders on a timely basis.
- Manage multiple cost centers with a total $3M budget and roughly $300K in annual capital improvement spend
- Lead TPM and cost savings projects ,and find efficiency gains of 4% annually
- Lead New Product Introduction projects, scale-up projects, product conversations and deactivations, and support SKU rationalization projects
- Partner closely with the Clearing Chemical Plant Manager and cross functionally with Sales, Marketing and other manufacturing plants across the network
- Support S&OP reviews, create a monthly Clearing OGSM and present to SVP level
- Additional duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 years of manufacturing or related experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced technical or business degree, MBA preferred
- TPM/Lean Six Sigma project experience and/or Green Belt
- Previous experience managing financial budgets
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
