What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Support Specialist position at ECOLAB?
Purolite, an Ecolab Company, is looking for an Sales Support Specialist to provide critical support to our customers during the sales process. The Sales Support Specialist will liaise with our warehouse, sales and purchasing teams to quickly and efficiently answer customer questions and provide real-time assistance.
What you will do:
Receive, review, track and maintain customer orders
Assure credit issues are resolved
Work closely with various departments to assure order fulfillment
Enter orders into the electronic system
Arrange appropriate shipping and tracking
Mitigate customer service issues and escalate to Sales Support Supervisor or Manager where appropriate
Maintains communications with both internal and external customers for customer satisfaction
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
2 years of Sales Support, Customer Service, or call center experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable navigating the internet and office equipment (e.g. phones, printers, scanners)
Ability to initiate tasks and work in an independent manner in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized and detail oriented
