ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider is recruiting for an HR Recruiting Specialist to join our Headquarters team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and proactive in process improvement. The HR Specialist will be responsible for various HR and Recruiting functions including, but not limited to: payroll, benefits administration, strategic planning, human capital management, and recruiting (writing job descriptions, screening, etc.).
Job Description: HR Recruiting Specialist
Overview of the Position:
The ECOMPEX career position supports the following:
- Manage recruitment process including job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews and reference checks
- Manage benefits and employee trainings
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems for recruitment and onboarding
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Collaborate directly with leadership on workforce planning and organization
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of experience in HR or Recruiting
- Experience with recruiting and HR software
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must pass a background check.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with government contracting industry
- Knowledge of contract management and compliance regulations
- Excellent communication skills for employees at all levels
- Proactive management skills to handle a variety of tasks
Primary work location: 100% telework in DC-Metro area OR San Antonio, TX
