We are seeking an experienced Engine Calibration Engineer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
Understand and apply engine operating fundamentals, engine management strategies, and calibration techniques
Complete solid engine and application calibrations in a timely manner, meeting the customer performance targets
Test new and existing engine products, as required, validating suitability for use in customer applications
Provide technical support to our customers on all aspects of their application as it relates to our products and calibration
Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- Previous exposure to engine calibration/testing/development.
- Working knowledge of PC-based presentation, spreadsheet, & word processing software.
- Basic understanding in following engineering disciplines; electrical, software, & mechanical.
- Basic understanding of equations governing hydraulics/pneumatics, rotational/linear mechanical dynamics, thermodynamics, electrical circuits, and compressible flow.
- Basic understanding of engine control systems, sensors, laboratory test equipment, and calibration techniques.
