What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Ecore International?
We are looking for a new Machine Operator (internallly referred to as Grinding Machine Operator). Reporting to our Production Supervisor, you will be a key part in making our high-performance upcycled rubber products.
1st Shift Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm, with occasional overtime on Friday
What You’ll Be Doing:
Prioritize your personal safety and the safety of your teammates. You are empowered to act and stop work if you see something unsafe.
You will start each shift with a team huddle and stretching.
Set-up your machine at the start of each shift.
Work with the materials and machines, following standard procedures.
Take manual measurements to ensure high quality.
Participate in regular training and cross-train others.
What You’ll Bring:
High school diploma, GED, or 4 years of experience
Must be able to lift 50-70 lbs. depending on the area you’re assigned
Need to have flexibility to work overtime as needed
