The Online Campus Registrar is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the academic records of all students who attend the On Line Campus; developing systems that enhance the efficiency, consistency and effectiveness of student records services, training and providing guidance to Student Records Coordinators and working with academic administrators to enforce a consistent student records policy.
Responsibilities
• Manage the overall policies for the Office of the Registrar (class scheduling, registration, grading, class rosters, transcript processing, records analysis, student directory, etc,).• Oversight of the student records transfer process from and to the Online Campus.• Supervise /manage the Online Student Records Coordinators.• Responsible for responding to internal and external data requests, including state, federal and private agency reporting regarding student enrollment or graduation. This includes individual student requests, ACT INC., Peterson’s Guide, the Chronicle for Higher Education, etc. Ensure the campus is compliant with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and accepted AACROA standards. • Provide data to assist in strategic planning, enrollment management, academic planning and other areas as needed.• Oversee the training and appropriate use of the University's CampusVue data management system with Student Records Coordinators. • Partners with Online Campus Administration to achieve desired organizational results in areas of customer satisfactions, student retention, staff retention, graduation rates and satisfactory student progress and other compliance and organizational metrics and goals, including analyzing enrollment and demographic statistics. • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; associates degree required.• A minimum of 3 years of related experience as a registrar or assistant registrar in a college or university setting.• Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
Skills/Abilities• Must be self-motivated, goal oriented and have a sense of urgency.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CampusVue and TES.• Well-developed oral and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.• Ability to handle a high pressure environment with significant timeline pressures. • Ability to work independently and with a team as well as with various constituents.• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.• Excellent customer service skills; to include the ability to effectively follow up and follow through.• Ability to conduct business with attention to ethical considerations, University policies and procedures, employment law and accreditation guidelines.
