POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Administrator, with expertise managing and extending Jira and Confluence in the cloud. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Atlassian suite of products, with a proven track record of creating and maintaining Jira Projects, Jira Workflows, and Confluence Spaces and as well as integrating Atlassian products with Microsoft Power Automate flows. In addition to Atlassian products, the candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration products such as Teams and SharePoint. The candidate should also have knowledge of Agile and Kanban software development life cycle.

Essential Functions Statement(s):

Create, configure, and maintain cloud-based Jira Projects, Jira Work Management and Jira Service Desk instances including configuring user and group access rights and workflows to support business processes and requirements.

Integrate Jira and Confluence with other cloud-based solutions including Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, Dynamics 365, etc.

Monitor the health of the Atlassian Cloud environment and proactively identify and troubleshoot issues.

Manage users and group permissions of Atlassian Cloud applications.

Collaborate with IT developers to ensure successful integration of Atlassian Cloud applications with other platforms, including potential integration with customer-facing applications.

Provide training and support to end-users on how to use Atlassian Cloud applications.

Stay informed of the latest developments in Atlassian Cloud applications, make forward-looking recommendations relating to products on the horizon, and advise organization-wide on best practices for their use.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
-
3 years of experience as an Atlassian Cloud Applications Administrator, with specific expertise in Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management, and Confluence

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with IT and Business teams.
-
Experience installing/managing Jira plugins, 3rd party apps, scripts, and customizations.

Knowledge of REST APIs and webhooks for integration purposes
-
Strong communication skills and ability to provide training and support to end-users.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.
-
Atlassian certification(s) is a plus.
Education:

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, (or ability to produce a portfolio of work experience and/or certifications to demonstrate a comparable breadth of computer science knowledge)
Computer Skills:
