We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. include working closely with our accountant. Process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate has minimum two years of accounting. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.
Responsibilities
- The essential responsibilities are Accounts Payable: posting, reconciling, and check writing. Contract administration, posting, organizing, and filing, collecting invoices and seeking approval for payment from the appropriate individual. Cash management. Payroll and Taxes. Insurance administration. Vehicle and Equipment records.
Secondary responsibilities are subcontractor communication, A/R invoicing, bank reconciliations, organizing and maintaining the hard files of the company.
Skills
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills
- Hands-on experience with Quickbooks
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
