This is how you will grow:
- Complete machine designs from concepts provided, including sizing, selecting, and specifying machine components
- Track and manage projects as assigned
- Size mechanical equipment such as pumps, gears, bearings, hydraulics, conveyors and piping
- Help coordinate field changes & prepare appropriate documentation
- Coordinate field changes & prepare appropriate documentation
- Perform basic engineering calculations
- Support engineering assignments with lite travel requirements
Requirements
This is how you will take us forward:
- 5 years of working experience with conveyor design and installation
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor
- Knowledge of basic structural design and strength of materials
- Working knowledge with bid package and specification development
- Working knowledge of of equipment cycle time and simulation input requirements
- Working understanding of Part Transfer DVA methodology
- Ability to provide short assignment travel support
- Ability to plan and support conveyor health assessments
- General assembly and/or Plant layout and process competency preferred
- Experience designing automotive conveyor (Power & Free, Skillet, AGV, EMS, Friction drive) systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
