Information Technology Department
Position: Systems Engineer
Reports to: Information Technology Department Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
A. Support technology development and uses
B. User technical support for computers, software, printers, and mobile devices
C. Maintain and monitor networking systems
D. Installation and maintenance of computers and related hardware
E. Installation of software, including updates and patches
Job Requirements
1) Working knowledge of:
a) Current and recent Apple computers
b) Current and recent iPhones and iPads
c) Mac OS operating systems (current and recent)
d) iOS operating systems (current and recent)
2) Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, router configuration, switches, and firewalls
3) Some experience with Ubuntu & CentOS Linux and deploying virtual environments
4) Strong verbal and written communication skills
5) Willingness to learn Eden Foods’ IT environment, including networking, database management, data utilization and organization
6) Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds
