We're hiring Hospice Chaplains to support our patients in Carson City, NV.
OVERVIEW
The Bereavement Counselor/Chaplain provides spiritual and emotional care to terminally ill patients
and their families, as well as grief support to the family after the death of the patient. Must be able to
work with people of various religious faiths and cultures. The Bereavement Counselor/Chaplain is
responsible for developing and overseeing current bereavement programs, including social activities
and workshops.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree in ministry, counseling, or social work preferred.
- Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training, preferred.
- Two (2) years or equivalent full time experience in bereavement counseling within the last three (3) years.
- Valid state driver’s license and reliable automobile, current automobile insurance, and be willing to operate personal car necessitated by nature of job.
- Current health certificate/physical examination and TB testing
- Must have proof of up to date COVID vaccine, or submit an exemption request to be reviewed/approved prior to hire
Average Hourly Pay Range
- $28 - $33
