What are the responsibilities and job description for the Charge Nurse position at Edge Global?
The RN charge nurse/clinical coordinator is responsible for the organization of the unit to help staff provide quality care to the patients. The charge nurse/Clinical Coordinator serves as a clinical resource person and takes a leadership role in managing and coordinating patient care for patients during their hospital stay. Assesses, plans, delegates and evaluates care delivered to the Med/Surg/Pedi patients during the assigned shift by directing and supervising care provided; interprets the standards of care for the unit and performs duties in any nursing capacity as needed.
To join our team, we require a minimum of three years' acute care experience, with preference given to candidates with Meditech familiarity. Possessing a current Vermont RN or multi state licensure, BCLS and ALCS certifications are essential, while Med Surg certification is highly desired. Patients on our Med Surg unit are of all ages.
