What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCU Nurse position at Edge Global?
75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
- Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Position will float to other areas as needed.
- CERTS: BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
- EMR: EPIC experience preferred. Basic cardiac arrhythmia experience required.
- SHIFTS: 12 hour night shift position. Weekends - 3 per schedule minimum Holiday- as needed Float - Sister units Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.
- ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
