RESERVATIONS SUPERVISOR

Summary:

Responsible for assisting with the day to day operation and direct supervision of assigned activities within the Reservations Department. Oversee overall department and/or shift(s) as assigned. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or team member challenges.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned
• Process various reports as needed
• Knowledge of Reservations procedures
• Counsel and review team members as required
• Control labor and supply costs
• Organize files as required
• Act as relief Reservations Manager when necessary
• Monitor Telephone calls to assure efficiency and accuracy
• Monitor room availiability
• Maintain communication with all departments involved
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Monitor team members daily work performance and accuracy
• Complete payroll reports daily
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
• Handle complaints from guests and outside agencies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1 Year Hotel experience (LMS or equivalent)
• 1 Year Supervisory experience preferred
• Leadership Skills
• Proven experience providing high level of guest service
• Computer Experience (Microsoft Excel and Word) & LMS
• Typing 35 wpm
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident, and well-groomed manner
• Education – HS Diploma or GED
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
