Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for an NQA-1 Auditor/Assessment opportunity for our customer in Carlsbad, NM for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP).
The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is the nation’s only permanent nuclear waste repository for defense-generated transuranic (TRU) waste generated from Department of Energy (DOE) sites across the country. Waste is permanently isolated over 2,000 feet underground in deep salt beds.
Qualifications:
Lead Auditor:
Requires individuals with in depth knowledge of NQA-1 and DOE 0 414.1D requirements. This individual must have a background in conducting assessments. The Lead Auditor shall have minimum of 10 years of conducting NQA-1 and DOE O 414.1D audits.
Auditor:
Requires individuals within depth knowledge of NQA-1 and DOE 0 414.1D requirements. These individuals must have a background in conducting assessments. Auditor shall have a minimum of 5 years of conducting NQA-1 and DOE O 414.1D audits.
Scope of Work:
Conduct a Quality Assurance Program assessment. The assessment will be performed by personnel who have an in depth understanding of the Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA) and DOE 0 414.1D, Quality Assurance requirements, Contractor Requirements Document.
This Quality Assurance assessment will be performed by personnel who have in depth knowledge of NQA-1 and DOE O 414.1D requirements.
