Senior 3D Animator

We’re looking for an experienced, creative 3D Animator. Our ideal collaborators are very passionate about making new things, and really care about making any given project as good as it can be. They need to understand and have compatible instincts with the established EDGLRD tone and art direction.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain animations for diverse characters, including players, creatures, bosses, and cinematics.
  • Collaborate and contribute ideas on animation, gameplay, and storytelling aspects of projects.
  • Document information and techniques for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and propose long-term solutions to enhance the production pipeline, avoiding temporary fixes.
  • Receive valuable feedback and critiques to foster personal skill growth.
  • Possess technical expertise in animation deployment, character setup, and utilization of various tools for efficient workflow.
  • Stay updated on the game's latest changes, updates, and evolving dynamics.
  • Thrive on collaborating with professionals from different development disciplines, leveraging their expertise to achieve collective success.

Required skills

  • Collaborates well with others
  • Can produce and contribute with no handholding

Strong ability & familiarity with:

  • Animating for games / real-time 3D
  • Knowledge of rigging is a plus
  • Unity
  • Unreal
  • Graphic and art design
  • Source control (e.g. git, perforce)

Experience & qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in 3D Animating
  • 1 years of experience in Unity and/or Unreal
  • Character Experience in UE
  • Contributed to a shipped commercial game or software
