Description
The Information Technology Developer will design, develop, configure, document, test, and maintain software that supports the enterprise.
Main accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications to support various departments
- Assist members of other departments with their minor coding projects
- Demonstrate flexibility during times of change and ability to adjust to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Change software so that system performance will meet objectives
- Analyze problematic code to find causes of errors and revise programs
- Develop software prototypes
- Convert designs and specifications into computer code
- Additional duties as required

Travel: Less than 10%
Minimum qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant experience, consulting experience strongly preferred
- Proficient knowledge of a wide array of Microsoft applications, computing equipment, software, and information technology-related issues and telecommunications and data circuit requirements
- 3 years of coding in C# and VB
- 3 years of coding with Transact-SQL, creating queries, designing tables and stored procedures
- 2 years of creating SSIS packages
- Experience creating web applications
- Experience with Crystal Reports (development, update, and maintenance)
- Experience with Silverlight, consuming web services in an application, creating web services, JavaScript, and creating scheduled SQL jobs
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as JQuery, AngularJS, and Bootstrap
- Database architecture experience
- Experience with Team Foundation System
- Experience with power plant operations and maintenance, wind plant operations and turbines (including turbine power converters specifically), high-voltage switching, and post-operational repair and maintenance of turbines preferred
Behavioral requirements:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability and willingness to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as needed
- Ability to bring project to successful completion within appropriate timeline
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
