Job Description
Our Leasing Consultants will be the front-line person(s) to interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve the property's maximum occupancy. This includes generating and handling traffic, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments, and completing daily follow-ups with prospects. You will also have the opportunity to utilize marketing skills by monitoring social media and web presence and working with the Marketing Manager to execute a strategy to build brand awareness and generate market presence, create and foster relationships with area businesses, and be active on social media.
Job Responsibilities
· Lease qualified prospects by showing available apartments.
· Greet and qualify prospects, follow up on prospective residents, and market the community to prospects via telephone, internet, and social media/networking programs.
· Provide top-notch customer service and timely response to resident requests and complaints. This includes helping residents and prospects before, during, and after leasing an apartment.
· Maintain relationships with all apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational material. Update periodically.
· Maintain ongoing resident retention program under the direction of Community Manager.
· Shop competition regularly.
· Maintain professional appearance of the office, amenity areas, model apartments, and community.
· Ensure a professional appearance and manner for oneself.
Skills & Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent
· 2 years in a leasing role strongly preferred
· Entrata and Lease-Up experience a plus!
· Weekend availability is required.
