Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and providing care for patients with cardiac conditions. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for diagnostic testing
- Assist with Esthetic laser treatment procedures
- Provide acute pain management interventions
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory standards, including Workers Compensation laws
- Assist with dermal fillers procedures as needed
- Provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities in a compassionate and respectful manner
- Contribute to occupational health initiatives within the organization
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using ICD-10 coding

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in telemetry or related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of 1 travel assignment - Required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and interpretation of rhythms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $59.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
