Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care and support to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Follow care plans and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Monitor patient behavior and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in patient care or caregiving is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, working with people with developmental disabilities, home care, and behavioral health is a plus
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Familiarity with taking vital signs and assisting with medical procedures
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients of all ages
- Experience working with children is beneficial
