Position Summary: Provides support to retail stores and stations by securing federal, state and local retail licensing requirements to ensure sites are fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Assists and/or instructs other internal departments and personnel on requirements and tasks to be performed, and communicates to all stakeholders the status of work performed.
Responsibilities:
Working Relationships: Federal, state and local agencies including Boards of Health, Revenue Departments, Liquor Agencies, Licensing Boards, Fire Departments, Store Area Managers, Store Managers, Construction Project Managers, Tax Dept, Accounts Payable, Sales Marketing and others.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Preferred Education: Associate's Degree (Business or related field)
Minimum Experience: 1 to 2 years - general business office or retail environment
Preferred Experience: 3 to 5 years - retail business office environment
Licenses/Certifications: Valid state commission as Notary Public (or ability to obtain commission) preferred
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure at times, team player. Working knowledge of licensing software (“License HQ” or similar web based software system) preferred. Must be able to establish and maintain external contacts at state & local agencies that will assist in resolving future issues or problems.
