Job description
Our Medical Center requires the skills of an experienced Front Desk Receptionist. The candidate should be friendly, highly motivated, team-oriented, organized, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibility:
- Ability to answer multiple phone lines, transfer calls, take and distribute messages to the correct parties
- Pre-register all new patients
- Check in all patients and gather patient information as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the patient waiting area
- Greet patients and visitors
- Schedule and coordinate appointments
- Verify insurance cards and obtain authorizations when necessary
- Coordinate patient transportation
- Bilingual
Experience:
- Medical Receptionist: (Required)
- Customer Service: (Preferred)
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Language:
- English and Spanish
