Position Description
LOCATION: Grand Rapids/Lansing, MI – Home Office
REPORTS TO: Vice President - Staffing
POSITION SUMMARY:
Delivers profit contribution by accomplishing agreed-to quarterly and annual sales objectives for the Grand Rapids and Lansing areas as well as other assigned territories / verticals, specifically closing new business, expansion business and cross-selling other EG products and services. Develops new business by identifying and selling to new prospects, maintains and strengthens relationships with current customers in assigned territory to gain firsthand knowledge of expansion opportunities and acquires business referrals from prospects and existing customers who could benefit from EG Workforce Solutions’ products and services. Sets and implements overall Sales strategy and tactics to increase orders for EG Workforce Solutions’ Staffing services (Field Associates) in Grand Rapids and Lansing. Success will be measured by the number of field associates invoiced (co-owned with Vice President of Staffing), number of new deals and orders secured, number of customers retained (co-owned with Vice President of Staffing), number of expansion opportunities identified and contracted and net growth in overall revenue and profit achieved for Grand Rapids and Lansing territory.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develops and executes effective sales and marketing strategies designed to gain more orders, through new business, expansion business, and cross selling to other EG Division customers.
- Sells products and services by establishing meaningful contact and developing relationships with key prospects (HR Managers, Plant Managers, Purchasing, Procurement, CEOs, CFOs and other decision makers), recommending solutions that resonate with their hiring managers and designed to meet their needs
- Demonstrates strong ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously with each prospect feeling that they are the most important pursuit of the moment.
- Creates a plan to ensure consistent follow-up and touch points with all clients to maintain and strengthen EG’s value as a consultative talent acquisition partner.
- Experienced in building a solid book of business using consultative and customized selling approaches anchored to a value driven sales methodology.
- Ability to quickly achieve profitable sales and growth through management and order cultivation of the Grand Rapids and Lansing territory. Able to offer a fresh and enticing approach to prospects to gain their interest in using EG’s products and services.
- Be a proven sales leader / driver with personal results consistently exceeding the average revenue and budget growth across the Staffing Industry.
- Works with the Vice President of Staffing and Recruiters in the Grand Rapids and Lansing offices to ensure positive engagement and quality results for customers in the Grand Rapids and Lansing areas.
- Balances value proposition for customers with the needs of EG. Works with the Vice President of Staffing and recruiting staff in the Grand Rapids and Lansing offices to strategically offer cost effective best-in-class service that encourages customer loyalty.
- Maintains exemplary quality service by your responsiveness and professionalism.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, human resources, related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- 2 years sales experience (sales planning, pipeline development, client relationship cultivation and management, positive negotiations and meeting / exceeding sales goals).
- Successful prospecting and deal closing track record.
- Unsurpassed level of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels within the client organization, including senior management and executives.
- Savvy in building creative solutions and gaining prospects’ and customers’ trust.
- Strong sense of self; ability to stay motivated, energized and positive in the face of rejection.
- Self motivated, independent thinker, action oriented – “seizes the moment,”, does not need to rely on others to get the job done, competitive with a desire to “win.”
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service and partnering skills – delivering to exceed customer expectations, anticipating customer needs and filling those voids.
- Demonstrated ability to identify customers’ needs and to deliver, decline, or adjust expectations with the customer feeling fully supported and positive about EG.
- Broad understanding of Human Resources, Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment as it pertains to the Staffing industry.
- Proven track record managing a P&L.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
