What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse-Shipping position at EHC?
EHC is currently looking for a Warehouse-Shipping Associate in the Katy, TX area.
- Warehouse – Shipping
- Secure items which are shipping out for transport. (Ex: Banding or shrink-wrapping items down to a pallet, bubble wrapping sensitive items like electronics or portions made of glass, etc)
- Select appropriate carrier from the client's list of preferred carriers to handle the shipment. Selection will depend on number of items shipping, size of items shipping, destination, speed of delivery times, etc)
- Schedule shipment with selected carrier and complete all necessary paperwork (Packing list, bill of lading, etc)
- Load product onto carrier’s vehicles once they arrive
- Obtain signatures from carriers on shipping paperwork and take pictures of all outgoing shipments
- Scan and upload all documents/pictures at end of day and rename/save accordingly
- This job is the most physically demanding job of the entire warehouse. Candidates need to be ready for a demanding day for the entire shift.
