Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Eikon’s discovery platform is built on groundbreaking innovations from its founders (Nobel Prize, 2014), culminating in the creation of microscopes which enable real time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise intractable classes of proteins as drug targets.
Position
The Recruiter role is central to our vision of building an organization that is vibrant, high-performing, and innovative. Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition, you will have a significant impact on Eikon’s ability to build a talented and diverse workforce.
About You
You have a gift for identifying exceptional talent and are able to add new perspectives, insights, and thought partnership to Eikon’s hiring managers as we scale to further enable groundbreaking innovations in the drug discovery process.
You are a brand ambassador, easily translating Eikon’s scientific vision, business objectives and culture into a compelling value proposition to a broad and diverse pool of candidates.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and to define unique search parameters; provide market insights, intelligence and talent analytics that support or guide talent recruitment strategies.
- Follow best practices for applicant tracking, interviewing, and hiring without bias and in service to a great candidate experience.
- Interview candidates and facilitate/participate in the selection decision process.
- Partner with other functions to attract and hire talent that will help to sustain and contribute to Eikon’s culture.
- Assist with the development and enhancement of special programs and initiatives such as the creation of enhanced workflow, brand recognition development, interview training, employee referral programs and diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Educate and coach hiring teams on best practices conducive to attracting, selecting and retaining top talent.
- Identify and enact broad based outreach recruitment plans to ensure that the company’s opportunities are highly visible, and reach diverse candidate pools.
- Establish and report hiring metrics to gauge degree of recruitment effectiveness, and continuously learn and adapt.
- Partner in the development of internship programs to build channels for early career roles.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4/6 years as an in-house recruiter, with 2/3 years focused on the Biopharma industry.
- BA/BS in a relevant discipline.
- Additional experience with Engineering and high-tech recruitment is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
- Expertise using social media tools such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.
- Proven track record of finding unique ways to source and attract qualified candidates.
- You have strong business acumen, with the ability to communicate effectively with leaders across the organization.
- You have demonstrated success in building relationships internally and externally, with highly developed persuasion, influencing, negotiation and consulting skills.
- You thrive in team environments, seek opportunities for collaboration and value team members success as much as your own.
