Assemblers are responsible for assembling components or parts of a product using various tools, equipment, and machinery. They follow detailed instructions, blueprints, diagrams, or other specifications to ensure the accurate and efficient assembly of products. Assemblers may work on an assembly line or in a workshop environment, depending on the industry and company.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, or work instructions.
- Assemble parts or components of products using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Inspect parts for defects or imperfections and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Test finished products to ensure they meet specifications and performance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on assembly equipment as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly work or related field preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
Working Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
