The Assembler II role involves producing complete assemblies according to API specifications, including EFD dispensers, valves, tank reservoirs, and associated sellable components. This position requires following written or verbal instructions meticulously to maintain the highest quality standards during assembly, testing, and packaging tasks.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure labor efficiency meets established time standards.
- Independently select parts, equipment, tooling, and materials required for assembly.
- Utilize equipment, tooling, and materials appropriately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area consistently.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear such as safety glasses.
- Perform basic troubleshooting tasks with minimal supervision.
- Provide basic training to other team members as necessary.
- Conduct various test functions using test equipment, meters, and mechanical/pneumatic devices.
- Collaborate with Engineering on new product development initiatives.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience or training.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending the English language.
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures, as well as follow oral instructions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Competency in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measure.
- Problem-solving skills involving concrete variables and standardized solutions.
