HOURS: 3rd Shift 10:30PM- 7AM

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise and lead a team of production operators to ensure a safe, productive, and efficient work environment.
- Set clear expectations, assign tasks, and provide guidance to team members.
- Monitor daily production activities and adjust resources as needed to meet production targets
- Implement and maintain 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to promote workplace organization and cleanliness.
- Identify and eliminate sources of waste and inefficiency in the production area.
- Promote lean manufacturing principles to improve processes and reduce waste.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce lead times, and enhance quality.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.
- Facilitate and participate in regular improvement activities, such as Kaizen events, to drive operational excellence.
- Train new and existing staff on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Support cross-training efforts to create a versatile and adaptable workforce.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards.
- Take appropriate actions to address quality issues and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of production activities, including inventory levels and output.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators and present findings to management.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and related software
- Lean Six Sigma certification a plus!
- Previous experience in training and developing production staff.
- Familiarity with extrusion machinery
